Shoe and boot trends winter 2018: If you want to know what we’ll be wearing come fall and winter, read through for the best footwear trends.
While black is classic, over the last few seasons, color is constantly rising to the top of shoe trends and boots in particular.
Last winter, white was a huge hit and this fall we already see endless variations of the pure shade that can break the boredom of any outfit. For AW ’17-’18, we saw white boots on more than 35 runways (Balenciaga/Margiela/Celine/Dries Van Noten/Marc Jacobs/Narsico Rodriguez/Tod’s to name a few) and red will definitely be one of this season’s protagonists (Prada/Blumarine/Versace/Armani/Tod’s/Valli/Miu Miu).
We also see a splash of colors like purple, yellow and blue, almost everywhere. Zara and Topshop opened the new season with a colorful boot collection and even more retailers enrich the palette every day.
Chunky boots will be around more than ever, while kitten heels will balance the trends with a dose of femininty. Sock boots also continue to rise while slouchy knee high boots and cone heels with an 80s vibe, will be one of this season’s more coveted designs.
