The no make up-make up trend, is certainly easier for all of us, especially during summer period, but when fall approaches, the desire for something more eccentric comes in. Luckily, this season’s trends have more eccentric to offer, while bold colors becomes the protagonist, of all looks.

Metallic textures are this season’s No.1 trend in eyeshadows, while color is not a factor here. Warm copper, cool silver, eye-cathing gold and electric blue tones, stand alone or in a smokey that draws attention to the eyes only, while the lip is staying nude.

From ethereal pink blush in eyes, lips and cheeks (Marchesa), to dark Burgundy shades that paints the eyelid till the brow bone (La Perla), red tones are this season’s suprise color. In Vanessa Seward, more than one tone combined for a bold make up look that meets no dilemma to go for lips or eyes only. It does both. Of course berry lips (Valentino) have staying power for yet another winter, while neon pink (Chalayan & Trussardi) will be a pleasant update for the cold days ahead.

Another pleasant change from the natural make up trend, are the rainbow colors we saw to many of the models. From bold orange hues to white and purple, this season’s eyeshadow palette gives endless options, even more when you’re trying the color blocking trend, that reminds us of how fun, make up can be. Plus, this season we are definitely trying the bold mascara trend we saw at Pucci’s, for a totally fresh look.

When was really smokey out of fashion? Never, from what we can remember, but every season we are surprised, by the ways it gets recreated. The four more interesting versions we spotted include a smokey tri-color with red, gold and grey eyeshadow (Ferretti), negative space smokey (Balmain), extreme cat-eye (Chloe) and a classic combo of smokey eye-nude lip at Elie Saab’s.
